ASTANA THE ENIGMA OF KAZAKHSTAN

Central Astana, Kazakhstan

Astana is the capital of Kazakhstan. It is located on the Ishim River in the north portion of Kazakhstan, within the Akmola Region, though administrated separately from the region as a city with special status. The 2014 census reported a population of 835,153 within the city limits, making it the second largest city in Kazakhstan. Originally inhabited by nomadic tribes people this changed in the 13th Century when Gengis Khan settled people there.

Founded in 1830 as a settlement of Akmoly, it served as a defensive fortification for the Siberian Cossacks. As of 4 September 2014, Astana has a population density of 958 people per km² and a population of about 835,153.

The word Astana originates from Persian which means “sublime threshold,” or “royal door” from the Persian verb which means ‘to stand in respect’, and literally means royal or sacred “threshold” where people stand in respect or awe.

The shift of the capital has given a powerful boost to Astana’s economic development. The city’s high economic growth rate has attracted numerous investors. In the 16 years since Astana became the capital, the volume of investments has increased by almost 30 times, the gross regional product has increased by 90 times, and industrial output has increased by 11 times. The city’s Gross Regional Product makes up about 8.5 percent of the republic’s Gross domestic product.

In 1997 Kazakhstan’s President-for-life Nursultan Nazarbayev moved the capital from Almaty in the southeast of the country to the newly-named Astana (previously it was called Akmola), which was then an empty patch of land by the Ishim River best known as a former gulag prison camp for the wives of Soviet traitors.

The capital’s climate does make construction much more complicated. In the winter months temperatures can fall to minus 40 degrees Celsius (minus 40 degrees Fahrenheit), making it the second coldest capital city in the world. In the summer, the mercury can reach up to 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit).

The city’s futuristic design shows Kazakhstan’s ambition and desire to distance itself from the Soviet legacy that has marred many of the surrounding Central Asian nations.

The economy of Kazakhstan is the largest economy in Central Asia. It possesses enormous oil reserves as well as minerals and metals. It also has considerable agricultural potential with its vast steppe lands accommodating both livestock and grain production, as well as developed space infrastructure, which took over all launches to the International Space Station from the Space Shuttle.

Astana is the first capital being built in the 21st century and it perfectly represents where the world is headed. It is truly one man’s vision: Nursultan Nazarbayev. Backed by billions of petrodollars, the city is being built from scratch in a remote and deserted area of the Asian steppes. The result is astonishing: a futuristic occult capital, embracing the New World Order while celebrating the most ancient religion known to man: Sun Worship. The city is still a huge construction site, but the buildings that are already completed already sum up Nazarbayev’s occult vision.

In Astana, we have a ‘city of the future’ filled with Illuminati, Masonic and occult symbols, whose purpose it’s leaders say is to ‘foster global peace and harmony between the world’s religions’

On June 10, 2015, the United Nations Secretary General Ban-Ki Moon addressed the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions at the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation in Astana. It was a meeting to promote global cooperation between the world’s political and religious leaders. Pope Francis has been invited to attend the next Congress in 2017. It was assured that the Vatican would be amply represented at a planned congress in Astana of religious leaders. Such congresses have become unique and influential floors for dialogue between

U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney, partially aimed at securing energy resources for America, went to Kazakhstan back 2006, Cheney hailed the government of Kazakhstan, one of the world’s top 10 oil producers, saying that “All Americans are tremendously impressed with the progress that you’ve made in Kazakhstan in the last 15 years. Kazakhstan has become a good friend and strategic partner of the United States”.

In December 2016, Donald Trump praised the dictator President Nazarbayev, for the country’s “miracle” during his reign. Nazarbayev, who was first elected president of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic in 1990, has continued his despotic reign over the country for more than 25 years. In the nearly 30 years since Nazarbayev rose to power, Kazakhstan has come under scrutiny for the ruling government’s undemocratic practices and human rights abuses.

A U.S. State Department report from 2015 detailed a list of “significant human rights problems” in Kazakhstan. Among them: limits on the right to vote in free and fair elections, along with “restrictions on freedoms of expression, press, assembly, religion, and association.”

Also in December 2016, Vladimir Putin praised the dictator with the following comment.

“Mr Nazarbayev, I want to take this opportunity to congratulate you on the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence. Under your leadership, Kazakhstan has achieved impressive results. We welcome this, all the more so as Kazakhstan is an active player in the integration processes underway in the post-Soviet area, and the very fact that a successful country is actively advancing the integration project reflects positively on all participants in the Eurasian Economic Union.”

Pope Benedict XVI welcomed the efforts of  Nazarbayev to promote inter-religious and inter-cultural understanding on Feb. 6/2017, and gave his apostolic blessing to Kazakhstan’s initiatives in this field.  The Pope praised the efforts of President Nazarbayev in preserving inter-confessional and intercultural understanding and accord, and wished success in the development of a multicultural dialogue and strengthening the peace.

Pope Benedict XVI assured President Nazarbayev of the Vatican’s full support for Kazakhstan’s chairmanship in the OSCE and for the idea of organizing an OSCE Summit in Astana.

The relations between Kazakhstan and the Vatican have always been strong and warm. President Nazarbayev first visited the Vatican in 1994 and in September 2001, a few days after the terrorist attacks of September 11 in the United States, Pope John Paul II visited Astana.

For the first time in the history of Catholicism, Pope Francis authorized “Islamic prayers and readings from the Quran” at the Vatican.

In ancient times, this would have been considered blasphemy, but today nobody really even notices when something like this happens.

An increasing number of “fundamentalist” Christians are concerned that Pope Francis is setting the stage for a one world religion and a new world order. Merging all of the countries of the world into a giant super-state and merging all of the religions of the world into a single faith, Or One World Religion.

Former Israeli President and Nobel Peace Prize-winner Shimon Peres. At a private audience with Pope Francis on September 4, 2014, Peres “proposed the founding of a United Religions organization — modelled after the United Nations. Furthermore, he said, Pope Francis would be the best leader for the United Religions Organization because “perhaps for the first time in history the Holy Father is a leader who’s respected, not just by a lot of people, but also by different religions and their representatives”.

The Masonic one-world religion of the New World Order, in the making for over 150 years, materialized in June 1997 as the United Religions Organization. Chief partners in its establishment were Episcopal Bishop of California, William Swing; the Gorbachev Foundation/USA (later The State of the World Forum); and the World Conference on Religion and Peace, now called Religions for Peace.

Religions for Peace, is an internationalist, occult UN Non-Govermental Organization headquartered at the United Nations in New York. It is an important “unofficial” Vatican channel for interreligious activities, said Francis Cardinal Arinze, former head of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue. It was co-founded in 1960 by John Cardinal Wright, and its first international president was Archbishop Angelo Fernandes of New Delhi. In 1994 it held the first-ever interfaith conference at the Vatican, with Pope John Paul II its opening speaker.

The United Religions is a United Nations project. Plans for its formation were revealed to world leaders in June 1995 by Bishop Swing at the interfaith service he was invited to conduct for the UN, celebrating its 50th anniversary.

The Nazarbayev family has been investigated in the past for allegations of money laundering, bribery and assassination, while former ministers of the Kazakh government claim Nazarbayev has accepted millions of US dollars in bribes, while discretely transferring at least $1 billion of oil profits into his personal account. None of these allegations have been proven however, and Nazarbayev continues to gain international regard for his work in dismantling former Soviet nuclear weapons.

Human Rights Watch says that “Kazakhstan heavily restricts freedom of assembly, speech, and religion. In 2014, authorities closed newspapers, jailed or fined dozens of people after peaceful but unsanctioned protests, and fined or detained worshipers for practicing religion outside state controls.

As usual, corruption and repression go hand in fist. The country languishes at No 105 in Transparency International’s league table of corruption, alongside Argentina, Algeria, Moldova and Senegal. And it stands at No 162 on the Press Freedom Index published by Reporters Without Borders. International monitors say the police routinely torture suspects.

So how on earth has Kazakhstan, been appointed to the chair of the Organisation For Security And Co-operation In Europe? And how has it found its way into the heart of Prince Andrew? Perhaps his role as Britain’s Special Representative for International Trade is involved, though it would be nice to know exactly how. Prince Andrew, Britain’s former Special Representative on International Trade, who visited the nation six times in seven years.

The Prince is a close friend of a prominent and glamorous member of the Astana elite, Goga Ashkenazi. He is also said to have gone goose-hunting with the President himself, and to have made surprisingly frequent visits to Kazakhstan.

With 57 participating States in North America, Europe and Asia, the OSCE – the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe – is the world’s largest regional security organization. The OSCE works for stability, peace and democracy for more than a billion people, through political dialogue about shared values and through practical work that aims to make a lasting difference.

The OSCE is a forum for political dialogue on a wide range of security issues and a platform for joint action to improve the lives of individuals and communities. The organization uses a comprehensive approach to security that encompasses the politico-military, economic and environmental, and human dimensions. Through this approach, and with its inclusive membership, the OSCE helps bridge differences and build trust between states by co-operating on conflict prevention, crisis management and post-conflict rehabilitation.

The oil rich dictator of Kazakhstan recruited Tony Blair to help win Nobel peace prize. President Nursultan Nazarbayev’s decision to engage Mr Blair as an official adviser was motivated by his lifelong ambition of winning the award previously bestowed on The Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu, well-placed sources said.

Another close associate of Mr Blair’s from his time in Downing Street, the former chairman of UK defence firm BAE Systems, Sir Richard Evans, is also thought to have played a role in establishing the relationship. Sir Richard is now chairman of the Kazakh state holding company, Samruk which owns most of the major companies in the country, including the national rail and postal service, the state oil and gas company, the state uranium company, airline Air Astana, and numerous financial groups.

The Kazakh regime, which has been heavily criticised for its human rights record, has also retained the services of Alastair Campbell, the former Downing Street communications chief and Jonathan Powell, Mr Blair’s former chief of staff, in pursuit of the President’s dream.

The move will raise further questions about the activities of Mr Blair who since stepping down as Prime Minister has travelled the world mixing diplomatic missions and charitable works with secretive multi-million pound business deals. Mr Blair claims he is not profiting from his links with Kazakhstan and until now his role, and the work of his former key Downing Street advisers, had been a mystery.

Both Mr Campbell and Mr Powell visited Astana, the nation’s newly built business and administrative capital, last March, weeks before the 71 year-old President was re-elected with 95 per cent of the vote amid accusations of “blatant ballot-box stuffing” from international observers.

Russia and Kazakhstan seem headed for a showdown over rocket launches at the Baikonur cosmodrome. Although Moscow and Astana are trying to downplay their differences, both sides seem ready to play hardball in what could be complicated and protracted negotiations.

Environmental concerns are ostensibly the catalyst for the discussions. But an important subtext is sovereignty over the Baikonur launch site, which is situated in northern Kazakhstan, but leased by Russia through 2050. Russia’s use of Proton-M rockets will figure prominently in the negotiations. The Proton class was first introduced in 1965, and since then it has proven one of the most successful booster rockets in the history of commercial aerospace operations, a workhorse for placing 3-ton satellites in geostationary orbits. But critics assert the fuel used to power Protons, known as UDMH, is highly toxic and can cause acid rain. Some also contend it is a carcinogen that has been linked to cancers in humans.

Russia’s assault on Ukraine’s sovereignty has brought Kazakhstan further into the spotlight, with some speculation that its 29% ethnic Russian population could bring the country into the Kremlin’s line of fire. On the other hand, as a member of the “Eurasian Union”, Nazarbayev’s dictatorship has long been one of Putin’s more steadfast allies

In February, his eldest daughter Dariga Nazarbayeva, who is the country’s deputy prime minister, echoed her father and called on the Kazakhs to “have a conscience,” “pay taxes,” and “sleep well.”

However, documents obtained by OCCRP show that members of the Nazarbayev family were regular users of these same tax havens.

The Panama Papers, one of the biggest leaks in journalistic history reveals the secretive offshore companies used to hide wealth, evade taxes and commit fraud by the world’s dictators, business tycoons and criminals.

The documents, dubbed the Panama Papers, are internal records from an offshore companies’ registrar called Mossack Fonseca. They were received by the German publication Süddeutsche Zeitung and shared with colleagues from the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) and the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP).

The documents show that Nurali Aliyev, the president’s grandson and Dariga Nazarbayeva’s son, had no second thoughts or conscience when deciding where to keep his money or register his luxury possessions. Aliyev owned two companies registered in the British Virgin Islands, one of the world’s least transparent offshore destinations, and used the offshores for operating a bank account and a luxury yacht. Rakhat Aliyev, Nazarbayev’s son-in-law, was a major insider in Kazakhstan politics for years and filled many roles, including chief of Kazakhstan’s tax police, deputy chief of the state intelligence service, vice foreign minister and ambassador. At the same time, he indirectly owned or controlled companies in the media, banking and agriculture industries.

“When the mob governs, man is ruled by ignorance; when the church governs, he is ruled by superstition; and when the state governs, he is ruled by fear. Before men can live together in harmony and understanding, ignorance must be transmuted into wisdom, superstition into an illuminated faith, and fear into love“ … “The perfect government of the earth must be patterned eventually after that divine government by which the universe is ordered. In that day when perfect order is reestablished, with peace universal and good triumphant, men will no longer seek for happiness, for they shalL find it welling up within themselves” – Manley P. Hall Author & Mystic, wrote The Secret Teachings of All Ages – An Encyclopedia Outline of Masonic, Hermetic, Qabbalistic and Rosicrucian Symbolic Philosophy

phoenix

“When it feels its end approaching, it builds a nest with the finest aromatic woods, sets it on fire, and is consumed by the flames. From the pile of ashes, a new Phoenix arises, young and powerful. It then embalms the ashes of its predecessor in an egg of myrrh, and flies to the city of the Sun, Heliopolis, where it deposits the egg on the altar of the Sun God.”

Iranian legends consider the bird so old that it had seen the destruction of the World three times over. The simurgh learned so much by living so long that it is thought to possess the knowledge of all the Ages. In one legend, the simurgh was said to live 1,700 years before plunging itself into flames (much like the phoenix)

Bayterek is the heart and most famous symbol of Astana. It represents a tree of life where a magic bird Samruk laid a golden egg.

The mythical phoenix has been incorporated into many religions, signifying eternal life, destruction, creation and fresh beginnings.

Samrukia: Kazakh Myth Gives Name to Dynosaur-Era Bird Found Near Aral

More than 80 millions years ago a huge ostrich-looking bird lived on the territories that are now part of Kazakhstan. The bones thought to belong to Samrukia Nessovi (Kazakh phoenix) suggest that giant birds coexisted with “non-bird dinosaurs” of the Cretaceous period, an article in Royal Society’s journal Biology Letters in the UK suggests. The remains were discovered back in 1970s in Central Kazakhstan and the suggested name refers to Samruk, the Phoenix-like bird from Kazakh myths.

According to the legend, every year sacred bird Samruk lays the golden egg – the Sun – on the Baiterek’s (Tree of Life) crown. The tree by itself symbolises cosmogonic ideas of nomads, where the roots of the tree situated in the underworld, its trunk on the earth and the crown in the sky. The Aidahar (Dragon), who lives at the roots of the Tree, eats the egg. This repeats infinitely and, thus, symbolises the shift of the winter and summer, day and night, and the struggle between good and evil. The Tree of Life and the Golden Egg on top of it became a symbol of Kazakhstan’s young capital Astana.
